
The Local Government Chairman of Nnewi South LGA, Hon. Chief Van George Ezeogidi (Ijele Utuh), In Utuh, played host to the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orotugu fwc MNIPS Ph.D, for a comprehensive review of the security architecture in Nnewi South Local Government Area. The visit aimed to assess the effectiveness of existing security measures and identify areas for enhancement.
During the visit, key security facilities in the local government were inspected, including the new Amichi Police station; and briefings were provided on local government initiatives to boost safety and security. Discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between the local government and the police to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens.


The Local Government Chairman commended the Commissioner of Police, CP Orotugu, for his visit and expressed gratitude to the people of Amichi and other towns visited for their security support. He underscored the commitment to maintaining peace and security in the area through mutual cooperation for a Progressive Nnewi South.
