NYWC Honours Bldr. Joy Mamuromu Otubushin, FNIOB, with Ambassadorial Award and Board Appointment
Lagos, Nigeria — The Nigeria Youth World Council (NYWC) yesterday proudly presented its prestigious Ambassadorial Certificate of Award to Builder Joy Mamuromu Otubushin, FNIOB, while also appointing her as an Esteemed Member of the Board of Council Directors.
The dual honour was conferred in recognition of her outstanding contributions to youth development, exemplary leadership in the built environment sector, and her unwavering commitment to mentoring the next generation of Nigerian leaders.
The presentation ceremony took place in Lagos and was conducted by Rotr. Amb. Odika Franklyn Nicolas Uzochukwu, Chairman, Board of Council Directors, NYWC, accompanied by National Secretary-General, Comrade Henrietta O. Eregare.
In her remarks, Bldr. Otubushin expressed heartfelt appreciation for the recognition:
“I sincerely appreciate this opportunity to serve both as an NYWC Ambassador and as an esteemed Board Member. I will do everything within my power to continue to be a role model to our youth, inspiring them to strive for excellence, integrity, and service to humanity.”
According to Chairman Odika, the appointment of Bldr. Otubushin to the NYWC Board reflects the organization’s commitment to integrating leaders with proven integrity, professional excellence, and a passion for youth empowerment into its strategic leadership team.
“Her voice, vision, and values will greatly strengthen NYWC’s mission to empower Nigerian youths and shape the future of our nation,” he added.
With this appointment, Bldr. Otubushin will play an active role in NYWC’s governance, advocacy, and mentorship programs, working alongside other distinguished leaders to design impactful youth-oriented initiatives nationwide.
